Hotel Tallukka will comply with the following terms and conditions, concerning the reservation and cancellation of accommodations, services, and rentals.
1. RESERVATIONS, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
In online bookings, the customer pays the entire reservation fee in one go "Pay now" when making the reservation or can choose to make the payment upon arrival at the hotel "pay at the hotel".
During the booking phase, the customer must provide the name, address information, email address, arrival and departure time, and payment method. Providing an email address is important to receive a booking confirmation.
After making a successful reservation, the customer will receive a reservation confirmation and payment receipt if the reservation has been paid to the e-mail address they provided.
Reservations made by phone or email are paid in full once upon arrival.
As a rule, group payments are invoiced partially or fully in advance.
When booking an accommodation or party space for a person under the age of 18, the booker must provide the guardian's consent and contact information for the booking.
Hotel Tallukka has the right to charge a deposit as a pre-verification from the credit card upon the customer's check-in. The guarantee covers additional cleaning costs and possible damage to the goods. The deposit will be returned upon check-out, if Hotel Tallukka has no reason to charge this amount in part or in full. The amount of the deposit is 50% of the accommodation price.
Prepaid price "Pay now" in online bookings
You have received a discount as a prepayer's benefit; the accommodation has already been paid at the time of booking. Accommodation can no longer be canceled, but it can be transferred to another person's name or transferred to a date 6 months later without compensation. The payment is non-refundable. Inquire about availability at Hotel Tallukka's reception at myynti@tallukka.fi or at 03-88881.
The transfer can be made once.
If the new reserved date is more expensive than the reservation itself, the difference must be paid before the accommodation starts.
Flexible cancellation "Pay at the hotel"
You can change or cancel the reservation free of charge up to 2 days before, if you have chosen the payment option "Pay at the hotel".

is displayed payee’s account statement or card invoice and forwards the payment
to the merchant. Paytrail corporation has a payment institution license. In

2. CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must be made in written in Finnish or in English to Hotel Tallukka by e-mail to address myynti@tallukka.fi or by phone +358(3)88881. Hotel Tallukka will confirm cancellation by e-mail. Cancellation is accepted when Hotel Tallukka has confirmed the cancellation. An unpaid invoice is not a cancellation. Changing the reservation is also interpreted as a cancellation.

If the reservation has been made for a certain period and the customer leaves before the agreed time, he/she must pay the agreed price for the unused time, but no longer than three days.
Hotel Tallukka has the right to require a credit card confirmation or advance payment for bookings of several nights. Advance payment may be applied to special fares during certain holiday periods, which are expressly mentioned in the price rules. The advance payment is 50% of the total value of the reservation.
Rights of Hotel Tallukka to reservation cancellation
If the customer has not paid the invoice by due date Hotel Tallukka has the right to cancel the reservation.
In the case of a force majeure, Hotel Tallukka may dissolve the agreement. Hotel Tallukka is obligated to inform the customer immediately.
The customer is at that time entitled to obtain the total amount of their paid rent from Hotel Tallukka in total.
Hotel Tallukka is not responsible for any errors found in their brochures / internet pages. We reserve the right to make changes after the printing of brochures and the updating of the Internet pages.
3. SMOKING AND PETS
Smoking is always prohibited inside all premises. In the event of unauthorized smoking inside the premises, a fixed charge of 500 € will be collected and in addition, the rental cost (according to the price list) of the premises in question will continue to be collected until the smell of the tobacco has been removed.
Pets are permitted, but they are subject to an additional charge. The customer must ensure that the pets do not dirty or damage the premises. Pets are not allowed to go on beds or sofas of the premises.
Hotel Tallukka is not responsible for allergies, e.g. problems caused to guests because of any possible smoking or animal dander etc.
4. THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE
The number of beds available at the premises also refer to the maximum amount of people who are allowed to stay at the premises. The use of a tent or other accommodation in the grounds of the premises are prohibited.

5. COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGES
The customer is obliged to compensate any damages caused to the Hotel Tallukka premises or its contents and damages resulting in the loss of rental income.
6. POSSIBLE COMPLAINTS
All comments and complaints concerning the equipment and condition of
rented premises must be informed immediately to Hotel Tallukka and thus give
Hotel Tallukka an opportunity to remedy the situation.
If the matter is not corrected, the customer should give a written complaint to
Hotel Tallukka. This must be done within one month of the end of the
reservation period.
If the customer and Hotel Tallukka are unable to come to an agreement, the customer can refer the matter to the Consumer Complaint Board for further handling. Possible trials and/or legal proceedings are carried out in Finland and if possible, at the district court of Päijät-Häme.
7. HOTEL TALLUKKA GIFT CARDS FROM HOTEL TALLUKKA WEBSHOP:
The buyer of the gift card has the right to cancel their order made through the seller’s website without any extra expenses within 14 days of the purchasing date. Only applies to unused cards.
Unused cards or parts of them won’t be exchanged for money.
The confirmation of the booking does NOT include the gift card code and therefore won’t be accepted as a payment.
8. PROTECTION AND MAINTENANCE OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Hotel Tallukka protects all customer information. Information of customers stays’ is kept by maximum three (3) years. The professional confidentiality of staff at Hotel Tallukka covers all customer information. Hotel Tallukka does not give out the contact information of the customers.
